Thank you for communicating me that I cannot pay with my credit card at Schiphol’s ticketmachines today. But now what? What is the alternative? What do I do if I want to get on the train? Can I travel for free? Or if I want to pay cash? This is not possible at these ticket machines? Is there a ticket window somewhere? Where do I have to go? I want to go on a train, but you are not telling me how to!
Above you see the ticket machine from NS including a hardcopy document taped on top. Why not digital? Why not sent an update to the terminal with an explanation about this ‘pin and credit card problem’ as a news item so all people who want to buy a ticket (also in stations where there is no hardcopy taped on top), see the message immediatly and will probably be less frustrated (if you tell them a good message and what to do).
